Today is a busy day! Well, its a busy week, and a busy month.
Gareth is in the airport lounge, about to fly to LA to catch up with some fine people like Dan Wilson, Matt Nathanson, The Talent House and East West Studios. Then onto New York for CMJ music conference, including the showcase events with RUFUS.

The studio is busy with projects in and out, currently the boys from Dappled Cities working on a film soundtrack, and next week Boy and Bear continuing their pre production for the next record.

Then the end of october sees us back to perth to build Rockit Festival for the Black Keys.
Awesome!

We have had so much going on with our live recording set ups, that we had to buy another one! The new rack features a JoeCo BlackBox recorder with MADI i/o.
That means 64 channels of recording directly from a digidesign profile, one of our sound craft consoles, or pretty much any other digital board with a MADI output in one rack space! Plug and Play, and ROCK SOLID.

The last couple of weeks have seen The Voice winner Karise Eden, 360 and Fun all tracked live, while next week will be Ed Sheeran, Hello Pavement and The Wanted.

Get in touch for more details of our live recording rigs – we would love to show you how simple it is to track awesome quality audio at your show.

Woah what happened to 2011?

Since our last update, we spent the end of last year on tour with Tim Freedman, Tim Finn, The Tallest Man On Earth, Ricki-Lee and working on records in the studio for Jack Carty and RUFUS, as well as a new single and clip for Pinky Beecroft. In our spare time we started producing a monthly webisode for Pedestrian.tv – the first two episodes featuring Andy Bull and Passenger. You can check out the videos here and here respectively.

So on the 2012…. we brought it in with shows from Tim Finn and The Naked and Famous at Falls Festival, Jack Carty at Woodford, as well as RUFUS and Passenger at Peats Ridge. Big weekend!

Now we are well and truly in the swing of things, out and about with Ira Glass (the creator of “This American Life”) and again looking after Grand Slam Oval at the Australian Open, and setting up for huge tours with The Horrors, Death Cab For Cutie and Bon Iver.

Wooooo Hoooo bring on the rest of it!
